Mame Millington imagines interior environments that are original and deeply personal. Sophistication, culture and soul are the foundations upon which ideas are refined and translated into alive spaces for residential and commercial commissions.

Extensive knowledge of historical & modern architecture, interiors and art inform all design commissions thereby ensuring they are imbued with thoughtful and detailed consideration to the aesthetic and functional aspects resulting in unique spaces reflecting and respecting the nature of the project as well as the client. With each commission being unique in design, new materials are continually being sourced and custom items prototyped. The Studio and adjacent Wood Shop are always alive with friends, clients & collaborators who are themselves a source of energy and inspiration to the work we do.

Clients understand that meaningfully designed spaces by MM require time to conjure & explore - this is a necessary part of our process - and precisely why we are a creative studio serving those who favour an aesthetic that seeks to define their own personal or corporate story.

Mame was included in the top 30 under 30 category for Hospitality Designers in North America in 2008, presented at the Las Vegas Hospitality Market. She has been a guest critic at the Ryerson University School of Interior Design and has taught design workshops to private groups. While working for three world-renowned Toronto-based architecture & design firms she produced award-winning interiors for numerous projects and this work has been featured in publications including Canadian Interiors, Azure, Condo Mondo & Interior Design magazines among other international publications.
